Ms. Cobb was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She graduated from Edgewater High School and was the Vice President of her graduating class. She attended Florida State University where she majored in Hospitality Management with a minor in English. After her undergraduate studies, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she worked as a manager at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. She later enrolled at the University of Florida Levin College of Law and graduated in 2013 with a certificate in Criminal Justice. While at the University of Florida, she served as a member of the University of Florida Trial Team and a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing. In addition, Ms. Cobb was a Certified Legal Intern for the Public Defender’s Office in Gainesville, Florida and a participant in Gator TeamChild, a juvenile law clinic which provides free legal services to children in foster care.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Cobb worked at the Public Defender’s Office in Osceola County where she tried over 50 criminal cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to serious felonies involving death. Ebony went on to work for the largest civil defense firm in Florida where she focused on all aspects of insurance and general liability defense, including personal injury defense, Personal Injury Protection (PIP) defense, automobile liability, automobile no-fault litigation, and insurance coverage disputes.
Ms. Cobb is involved in the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association, the National Bar Association, and served as a past President of the Osceola County Bar Association. In her spare time, Ms. Cobb enjoys traveling, attending live concerts, and spending time her family, friends and her beloved dog, Sasha. Ms. Cobb is licensed to practice law in all Florida courts.
